Griswold edges Stanton on gridiron

Wyatt Silk had a big night offensively for Griswold in a 28-20 win over Stanton in non-district, Eight-player football Friday.
Silk completed 6-of-10 passes for 158 yards and 33 yards and a touchdown on the ground. Dain Laverty hauled in five passes for 143 yards and both TDs.
Stanton’s Nolan Case finished his night completing 13-of-35 passes for 197 yard with TD tosses to Jayden Snow and Brodee Sowers. He also rushed for 21 yards.
Snow paced the Viking defense with 6.5 tackles, including three solos and a tackle for loss.
Callen Keiser’s 10 tackles led Griswold.
