Big Reds tame Griswold Tigers

Griswold suffered a 63-47 setback to Missouri Valley on the road Thursday in non-conference boys basketball.
Layton Maasen led the way for Missouri Valley with 19 points and six assists. Brayden Neill chipped in 18 points and 7 rebounds.
Zane Johnson scored 13 points and Bode Wyman 11 to lead Griswold.

Braedon Godfread poured in 34 points to lead Sidney to a 75-44 victory over Griswold in Corner Conference boys basketball last Tuesday.
The Cowboys outscored the Tigers 25-11 in the first quarter en route to the win.
Godfread hit 15-of-21 shot and grabbed eight rebounds to got with game-high scoring night. Colt Payne and Grant Whitehead added nine points each.
Conner Bowers scored 10 points to lead Griswold.
