John and Debbi Blay, of Red Oak, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Malia Blay, to Joe Hendricks. Joe is the son of Jim and Joni Hendricks, of Council Bluffs.
Malia teaches kindergarten in the Clarinda Community Schools and Joe is employed with Ryder Transport in Omaha as a truck mechanic.
The couple will marry Saturday, Oct. 15, 2011, at the First Christian Church in Red Oak.
Currently, the couple resides in Red Oak.
