Helen Elizabeth Baker Shaw, 89, of Red Oak, passed away on June 7, 2010, at the Red Oak Rehab and Care Center.
Helen Elizabeth Baker Shaw was born Sept. 16, 1920, on a farm near Villisca, the daughter of Archie and Ruth (Jenkins) Baker. Helen was united in marriage to George Ted Shaw on April 12, 1943, in Las Vegas, Nev.
Survivors include her sisters: Laura Jean Adams of Onalaska, Wis. and Judy Rebitzke of Red Oak; brothers: Richard Baker of Red Oak; Jack Baker of Davenport; and Rodney Baker of Kelso, Wash.
Mrs. Shaw was cremated and no services are planned at this time. Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
