Griswold baseball goes 1-1

Griswold baseball defeated Underwood on Monday, June 6, with a score of 4-2. The game began slowly with no team scoring until the fourth inning. Drake Reibel went 2-3 at bat and hit a single and a double. Hayden Ogg also hit 2-3, both singles. Jake Reynolds collected the win for the Tigers with one walk, four strike outs and no earned runs.

Tuesday, the Tigers lost to Tri-Center, Neola 6-3. D. Reiber took the loss, pitching five of six innings, walking two and striking out three, while giving up three earned runs.

Corey Greubel went 1-1 at bat with a double. 

Overall, the Tigers struggled at the plate, only getting three hits at 25 times at bat.

Thursday, Griswold lost to Treynor 4-2.

James Reynolds took the loss with six strike outs and three walks.

Reiber went 2-3 with a double and single to lead the Tigers offensively.
