Grand opening for Information and Resource Centers

Southwest 8 Senior Services, the Area Agency on Aging for southwest Iowa announced the grand opening of a satellite Information and Resource Center in Red Oak.

Every Thursday afternoon, beginning on Oct. 1 from 1–3 p.m., staff members from Southwest 8’s main office in Council Bluffs will hold office hours at the Red Oak Senior Center, 109 E. Washington in Red Oak. Oct. 1, will serve as the grand opening.

Seniors, caregivers, professional agencies, and anyone who has an interest in senior issues should make plans to attend this event, some refreshments and meet some of the agency associates who will be available for appointments.

This Information and Resource Center will be staffed by associates from many different departments such as Elder Abuse, Nutrition, Case Management, Information and Assistance, Advocacy, Development, and more. Make appointments for private consultation with the Red Oak Senior Center Manager, or walk in for information.
