Fred J. Ludwigs, 89, of Stanton, passed away on June 12, 2010, at Hillcrest Country Estates in Papillion, Neb.
Fred Janssen Ludwigs, the son of William and Clara (Brabander) Ludwigs was born Oct. 17, 1920, in Chatsworth. Fred married Lucille Seibels on June 18, l946, in LeMars.
Fred is survived by two sons: Larry Ludwigs of Omaha, Neb., and Rodney Ludwigs of Stanton; two daughters: LaVail Stafford of Neola, and Renae Shelton of Clarinda; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held on June 17 at 10 a.m. at Mamrelund Lutheran Church, Stanton. Burial in Mamre Cemetery in Stanton with Rev. Dr. Eric Kutzli officiating. Visitation with the family present at Sellergren-Lindell-DeMarce Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 6-7 p.m.
