Frank W. Shields, 62
Frank W Shields, 62, North Cape May, N.J., died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012, at his home.
Born in Clarinda, and formerly of Siam, he had been a Cape May area resident for 35 years. Frank was a self-employed home builder in Iowa and then worked in maintenance at the Cape May County Zoo for 17 years.
He enjoyed fishing, walking on the beaches searching for sea glass and sports – especially Fantasy Football, where he was Commissioner of his league.
Frank is survived by his wife Debra Shields of North Cape May; his mother, Waive Shields of Auburn; his sons, Seth Shields of Madison, Wis., Tyler Shields of Council Bluffs, Gary (Tiffany) Honeyman of Gretna, Neb. and Scott (Torrie) Honeyman of Clarinda; and his daughters, Jessie (Josh) Washburn of Council Bluffs and Audra Honeyman of Essex. Also surviving are his sister Harriet (Sonny) Clark of Auburn, Neb. and his five grandchildren, Ava, Gavin, Brayden, Caleb and Hudson.
There was a memorial service at 4 p.m. Monday, Nov. 19, 2012, at the Cape May VFW, 419 Congress St, Cape May, N.J.
