Essex competes at Lenox Tournament

The Essex volleyball team went 0-5 at the Lenox Invitational Saturday.
Murray was the tournament champions with a record of 5-0.
The Trojanettes dropped decision to Murray 14-21, 21-13, 15-10, the host Tigers 21-15, 21-8, Bedford 21-11, 21-11, Interstate 35 21-10, 21-16 and Diagonal 24-22, 19-21, 12-15.

Jordyn Bucher had seven kills, and Aniya Hardee had 12 aces to lead Bedford to a 25-4, 26-24, 25-23 win over Essex in Corner Conference volleyball Thursday.
Hardee added 20 set assists and eight digs for the Bulldogs.
