Ernst, not Jacobs, right choice for Iowa

Iowa has a choice to make June 3 in the Republican primary. We have Joni Ernst, a veteran whose leadership was honed in leading her military unit to successfully accomplish their mission in a combat zone. Her leadership was also proven in service to the citizens of Iowa in the Iowa Senate.

Then there is Mark Jacobs. He worked for a too-big-to-fail bank that had to be rescued with billions of taxpayer dollars for their misdeeds. Then he claims to have saved Reliant Energy, a Texas-based power company (think Enron) that was billions of dollars in debt. Through selective bankruptcies, he was merged (sold). He is now in Iowa to try for the Senate seat using viscous and denigrating attack ads with millions of his own dollars.

Joni Ernst is invested in the good of Iowa and our country as shown in her willingness to put her life on the line for our country.

Mark Jacobs has proven the ability to enrich himself. He claims to be a battle tested business leader. I submit that he knows nothing about battle. Whose interest will Mark Jacobs serve? The citizens of Iowa or his Wall Street buddies?
