Ducks Unlimited hosting 27th annual banquet Saturday

RED OAK — The Montgomery County chapter of Ducks Unlimited will be holding its 27th annual fundraising membership banquet on Saturday, March 3 at the Red Coach Inn in Red Oak, starting at 5:30 p.m.

The evening will consist of games, raffles and cokctails, followed by a buffet dinner at 7 p.m, with the silent and live auctions following.

This year’s event features art work by Terry Redlin, Rosemary Millet and Iowa artist Larry Zach.

They will also be celebrating Ducks Unlimited’s 75th anniversary with several DU 75th commerative items on the silent and live auctions.

The theme for DU’s 75th anniversary is conservation for generations.
DU has conserved more than 12 million acres of waterfowl habitat across North America since its inception in 1937.

Over the years, their conservation habitat work has continued to grow both in importance and magnitude.
