Ducks, dogs, rides at Junction Days 2016

 The weather cooperated and people had a blast during Red Oak’s 2016 version of Junction Days.

Friday evening kicked off with the opening ceremonies, the Munchkin March bike ride, food stands, and a concert. Music filled the air at the fairgrounds on Saturday, along with aromas from the cooking contests. The parade and carnival were a hit. Among the events were the Red Oak Kiwanis duck race and the annual hot dog eating contest. There were several class reunions, and class members rode in the parade, too.
