Duane Oakleaf, 77, of Red Oak, passed away on June 11, 2010, at the Good Samaritan Society in Red Oak.
William Duane Oakleaf, the son of Reuben William and Dorothy Nadine (Fort) Oakleaf was born Nov. 15, 1932, in Page County. Duane was united in marriage to Judith A. Renn on Aug. 23, 1959, in Red Oak.
Duane is survived by wife: Judy Oakleaf of Red Oak; sons: Michael Oakleaf of Red Oak; Scott Oakleaf of Elliott; and Brian Oakleaf of Elliott; seven grandchildren; sisters: Linda Oakleaf of Red Oak, and Barbara Hamernik of Red Oak; brothers: Kenneth Oakleaf of Overland Park, Kan. and David Oakleaf of Red Oak; brothers-in-law: Junior Renn of Red Oak, and Robert Renn of Red Oak; and sister-in-law: Cecelia Oakleaf of Glendale, Ariz.
Celebration of life service was held June 14 at Sellergren-Lindell-DeMarce Funeral Home. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery in Red Oak with Rev. Alan Dean officiating.
