Dean’s List
Upper Iowa University
Blake Bergren, an Exercise/Sport Studies major from Red Oak, has been named to Upper Iowa University’s 2017 spring dean’s list.
To be honored, the undergraduate must have earned a minimum 3.50 GPA for the semester and be enrolled as a full-time student.
Cornell College
Mary Kort of Red Oak was one of about 200 students named to the Cornell College dean’s list for the spring 2017 semester.
Iowa State University
The Iowa State University College of Liberal Arts and Sciences’ dean’s list honors students who were enrolled in 12 credit hours and earned a 3.5 grade point average for the term.
Local students named to the dean’s list included:
• Red Oak: Madison Wookey, an English major.
• Villisca: Halee Olson, a Journalism and Mass Communication major.
Buena Vista University
Area students were recently named to Buena Vista University’s dean’s list for terms three and four. Students named to the dean’s list must have a minimum grade point average of 3.5 for the two terms, based on a 4.0 grade point system, and must have taken at least 12 hours of coursework. The students include:
• Mikenzi Monthei of Red Oak.
• Shirley Urich of Red Oak.
Casaundra Currin, Villisca, was named to the dean’s list for the spring 2017 semester at Buena Vista University.
Students named to the dean’s list must have a minimum grade point average of 3.5 for the semester, based on a 4.0 grade point system, and must have taken at least 12 hours of coursework.
University of Nebraska Lincoln
Brooke Doyle of Imogene has been named to the dean’s list at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for the spring semester of the 2016-17 academic year.
Doyle, a freshman pre-speech-language pathology major, was named to the dean’s list for the College of Education and Human Sciences. To be included on the dean’s list, students must have a minimum grade point average of 3.75 based on a 4.0 grade point system, and must have taken at least 12 hours graded semester hours.
