Corner Conference Brackets set

The brackets are set for the Corner Conference tournament, which will start up Saturday night.

Girls' bracket

The Stanton Viqueens picked up the No. 1 seed in the East division, while Sidney has the top seed in the West.

Stanton won't play until Monday night. They will get the winner of East Mills and South Page, who plays on Saturday night in College Springs.

The Viqueens will play East Mills/South Page, Monday at 6:15 p.m. in Essex.

Fremont-Mills and Essex will follow that game with tip-off expecting to take place around 7:45 p.m.

The other quarterfinal games will take place at Sidney. Sidney will face Clarinda Academy on Monday night at 6:15 p.m. Villisca will take the court around 7:30 p.m. when they face Nishnabotna.

The semifinals will take place at Stanton and the finals and consolation game will take place at Malvern.

Boys's bracket

In the boys' bracket, Villisca and Sidney own the top seeds in their division. Villisca waits to see who they will play as Nishnabotna and South Page play this Saturday night in College Springs.

Villisca will play one of those two teams Tuesday night at Farragut, with tip-off expected to take place around 7:30 p.m.

Stanton will play before Villisca, when they take on East Mills. Tip-off will take place at 6:15 p.m.

Clarinda Academy will host the other quarterfinal games Tuesday night. Sidney will play Essex first at 6:15 p.m. Then Clarinda Academy will play Fremont-Mills around 7:30.

The semifinals will be held Thursday at Villisca and the finals/consolation game next Saturday at Tabor.
