College Graduations

Morningside College

Morningside College in Sioux City presented bachelor’s degrees to undergraduate students during its 120th spring commencement held on May 12.

 Sabrina M. Guerra, Red Oak, earned a Bachelor of Science in non-profit management.

Guerra was also honored recently at the annual Omicron Delta Kappa Honors Convocation at the college. ODK is a national leadership honor society that recognizes and encourages superior scholarship, leadership and exemplary character. She received a volunteer award for participation in Americorps.

Graceland University

Laura Jaeger, Essex, graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts (Accounting,Agricultural Business and Business Administration) from Graceland University.

Jaeger was one of 335 students awarded bachelor’s degrees during the spring 2018 graduation ceremony.

Peru State College

Robert Mitchell Mills, Red Oak, was one of 402 graduates at Peru State College on Saturday, May 5. Mills earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Summa Cum Laude.

On May 5, Amanda Lyn (Erickson) Ludwigs, daughter of Kim Lamb and Chris Erickson, and granddaughter of Dean and Betty Leonard, graduated from Peru State College. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice, graduating Cum Laude.
