City council accepting funding requests from organizations

RED OAK — The City of Red Oak is beginning the process of developing their budget for fiscal year July 1, 2012 through June 30, 2013.   

Any organization that will be requesting funds from the City for the upcoming fiscal year should submit a written request to Red Oak City Hall at 601 N. Sixth Street, or by e-mail to redoakcity@mchsi.com, by Wednesday, Dec. 11.  

Those requesting funds are asked to be available at the City Council meeting at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 19 to be able to answer any questions the Council may have.  The City will then take all requests under advisement while preparing the city budget.
