Church food pantry appreciates help

Dear Editor:
We at the First Baptist Church food pantry want to let everyone who has helped us this past year know how much we appreciate you. It takes a lot of people working together to provide the food, clothing and other items to the people who use the food pantry.
Maybe you had food drives or other fundraisers, donated clothing, blankets and etc. for our clothes closet, gave a gift of money, donated items to the indoor sale during this past season, brought in garden produce and fruit, or maybe you were the person who always seemed to know when we were out of meat. We appreciate those who save and bring us the grocery bags. We use a lot of them. Like I said before, it takes a lot of people to keep the food pantry going.
We serve all people in Montgomery County and are open Tuesday, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. and Friday, 1-5 p.m. We are located at 406 N. 3rd St. For further information call Katie at 623-9593 or 712-357-1184.
