Christmas burglar steals items from Watkins True Value
RED OAK — Local police are seeking information about a male suspect who allegedly broke into Watkins True Value on Christmas morning.
According to a Red Oak police report, an unknown male took more than $2,000 in merchandise, including two laptops (a Gateway and a Hewlett Packard) four Ipods, and a Zyne MP3 player.
He caused an additional $1,000 in property damage by smashing a double-pane glass door to gain entry to the building, and a glass display case inside the store.
The burglary was discovered by Red Oak police officers at 2:45 a.m. Saturday.
