Card Shower: Dan L. Peterson

The family of Dan L. Peterson requests your prayers and a card shower for Dan in celebration of his 60th birthday on June 26. He was born at Montgomery County Memorial Hospital and one of five children of Kenneth and Ruth Peterson, both deceased. He is a graduate of Griswold High School and regularly attends Elliott Methodist Church in Elliott.   Montgomery County has been Dan’s home almost all his life, currently living at the family home place at 1352 I Ave., Elliott, IA 51532. His family says Dan is a miracle, not only surviving several brain surgeries since 11 years old, but progressing to graduate high school to currently a widower, living alone and caring for himself, in spite of handicapped with just one working arm and hand. Through all his injuries and rehabilitation, he has always had a miraculous faith and trust in God, sense of humor and jovial spirit.
