Bust in Elliott
Three people were jailed on drug charges following the execution of a search warrant in Elliott Sunday.
According to a release from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, at 10:25 p.m. Feb. 12, the sheriff’s office and Cass County Sheriff’s Office, “in a joint narcotics operation, executed a search warrant at 508 5th St., #B, in Elliott. As a result of the search, approximately 141.75 grams of methamphetamine, a .32 caliber handgun, and numerous items of drug paraphernalia were seized.”
The release said the following were arrested during the execution of the warrant:
• Patrick Emile Clark, 64, of Elliott, was charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver, a Class B felony; drug tax stamp violation, a Class D felony; felon in possession of a firearm, a Class D felony; and unlawful possession of prescription pills, a serious misdemeanor.
• Daniel Eugene Long, 32, of Atlantic, was charged with conspiracy to deliver methamphetamine, a Class C felony.
• Kristine Myers Ryan, 50, of Red Oak, was charged with gathering where controlled substances were used, a Class felony; and possession of drug paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor.
All three were taken to the Montgomery County Jail. Clark was being held in lieu of $100,000 bond, Long on a $50,000 bond, and Ryan on a $5,000 bond.
