Blue, Billings running for RO mayor

Montgomery County candidates for the Nov. 5, city elections have been released by Montgomery County Auditor Stephanie Burke.

Running for mayor in Red Oak are incumbent Bill Billings and Karen Blue. Scott Keith is running for Red Oak Ward No. 1 council member; Peter Wemhoff for Red Oak Ward No. 3 council member; Jeanice Lester, Red Oak council member at-large; and council member at-large - TVF, Terry Koppa and Brian Bills.

Kirk Renquist and Jeff Magneson are running for Stanton Mayor, while James Cavner and Pier Schenck-Osweiler are running for council.

No one filed for the three Coburg council seats open. Lyn Sliger is running for mayor of Grant, with Zelda Swartz, Jeff Brown, Steve Williams, Nancy Taylor and Emerson Hill running for council.

No one filed paperwork for Elliott mayor or council member TVF, but Jessica Rasmussen, Travis Johnson and Leta Rush filed for council member.

In Villisca, Marilyn Halda is running for mayor, with Robert Narup and Marsha Shepherd running for council.
