Big numbers could benefit SouthwestValley boys tennis

After a 2-8 season with only nine athletes on the roster, the Southwest Valley boys tennis team is growing in numbers and experience.
Head coach Pete Nett has 14 athletes to work with this season, including three seniors.
The team also has six juniors, three sophomores and two freshmen.
Even though last season’s team went 2-8, it return’s seven of the nine that were on the roster last season, and those seven will be mentors to the seven other new members of the team.
Of the seven new members of the team, four are freshmen or sophmores, helping the future depth of Southwest Valley.
Southwest Valley starts the season April 5 at Clarke.
