Southwest Iowa Community Bible Study Day class will celebrate their 10 year anniversary April 8, 9:30 a.m. at the Faith Community Church, 2701 North 8th Street in Red Oak.
SW IA CBS began in February, 2000 with the study of the New Testament books Philippians and I John. Over the past 10 years CBS studies have included books from both the Old and New Testaments.
CBS is currently studying the New Testament book of Revelation and will study the Gospel of Luke beginning the Fall of 2010.
In honor of its 10 year anniversary, CBS is inviting all past participants and anyone interested in learning more about CBS to attend the anniversary celebration. The day’s activities will include an anniversary DVD, praise and worship, fellowship, a study of Revelation 21 followed by a catered luncheon in the Faith Community Church Family Life Center. Community Bible Study is an international ministry whose mission is to “make disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ in our communities through caring, in-depth Bible Study available to all”.
The goal of this Bible Study is to offer a comfortable and caring environment in which to enable all to become competent in studying God’s Word.
The CBS day class is open to all.
