Betty M. Clark, 84

Betty Mae Clark, 84, of St. Joseph, Mo., formerly of Coburg, died Friday, Sept. 9, 2011, at Heartland Regional Medical Center.

Betty was born to Harold and Nellie (Younggren) Hunt Aug. 16, 1927, in Coburg. She married Leonard G. Clark March 23, 1946. He preceded her in death Aug. 10, 2000.

Clark worked in sales for JC Penney and later, worked as a greeter for Walmart.

She was a member of the First Lutheran Church and the Diamond Club. She was a devoted mother and grandmother.

Betty was also preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include two sons, Randy (Linda) Clark, of Castle Rock, Colo., and David (Patti) Clark, of Amazonia, Mo.; daughter, Barbara (David) Maag, of Sunset, Texas; grandchildren, Chad, Scott and Brian Clark, Kristopher Maag and Karole Black, and Jason, Stephanie, and Josie Clark; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Maxine Chastain and Pauline Walker; brothers, Donavon and Larry Hunt; and several nieces and nephews.    

Services will take place 3 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 14, at Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. The Family will receive friends from 1:30-3 p.m., Wednesday, at Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory.
