Basketball substate/districts set

DES MOINES— The Iowa High School Athletic Association  released their District/Substate assignments on Tuesday.

The Red Oak Tigers boys basketball team will be competing in Substate 1 of Class 3A.

Red Oak will be competing with Atlantic, Sioux City Bishop Heelan, Denison-Schleswig, Glenwood, Harlan, LeMars and Sergeant Bluff-Luton.

Stanton and Villisca will both be competing in District 15 in Class 1A.

They will be facing the likes of East Mills, Essex, Fremont-Mills, Nishnabotna, Riverside, Sidney and South Page.

The 1A Districts begins Feb. 14 and the 3A Substate begins Feb. 21.
