Elijah Sturgeon and Bailey Kinney were married Sept. 21, 2013 at Camp Rivercrest near Fremont, Neb. The wedding was rustic, taking place in an outdoor chapel largely constructed by the groom.
The bride is a graduate of Norris High School near Firth, Neb., and from UNL in 2013 with a degree in art. Her parents are Darren and Bonita Kinney of Firth.
The groom is a graduate of Stanton High School, as well as a graduate of Iowa State University in 2010 with a degree in history. His parents are Don and Sandy Hladky of Stanton.
The newlyweds are currently residing in Culbertson, Neb., where Elijah is a para-professional and Bailey is an art teacher. They recently returned from a delayed honeymoon in Miami and Key West, Fla.
