Maybe it’s time we listened to kids who like recess best.
I liked school, but as I get older, I’m increasingly convinced recess is a very good and necessary thing to preserve health.

Swanie G. Franzen, 76, of Red Oak, formerly Stanton, died Aug. 14, 2009, at his residence. Swanie Gustaf Franzen was born Dec. 6, 1932, in Red Oak, the son of Erick and Mary (Rossander) Franzen.
