Amelia C. Jennings-Douthit

Amelia Clara Jennings-Douthit, the daughter of Lydia Douthit and Tyler Jennings, was born and passed away Saturday, July 2, 2011, at Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha.

Amelia is survived by her parents, Lydia Douthit and Tyler Jennings, of Red Oak; grandparents, Kenneth Douthit and Christina Volquartson, of Red Oak, and Lisa Douthit and Todd Bruce, of Red Oak; and great-grandparents, Levi and Mary Franks, of Red Oak, Al and Elaine Bruce, of Stanton, and Arvid and Dorotha Peterson, of Red Oak.

Memorial services took place Tuesday, July 5, at the First Christian Church in Red Oak, with Rev. Joanne Thomas officiating. There was a private family burial in the Essex Cemetery.

The Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel of Red Oak is in charge of arrangements.
