INCIDENTS

• On June 30, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office received a report of the theft of about 1,300 pounds of No. 6 solid bare copper from the Villisca Power Plant. The copper is in the form of between 30-40 hand coils weighing about 30 pounds per coil and estimated worth is $3,000. The theft is believed to have occurred between June 22-26.
