ACCIDENTS

• On April 11, at about 12:20 a.m., Red Oak Police officers investigated an accident in the 1900 block of  Ironwood Ave. Police found a 2001 GMC Sierra K1500 truck, driven  by Austin Hale, 20, Red Oak, high centered in a private driveway. Officers determined Hale lost control while turning north from Highway 34 onto Ironwood Ave. He entered the ditch and tried to use the private driveway to exit and became high centered. Hale was taken to Montgomery County Memorial Hospital for medical evaluation. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at about $2,000. Hale was cited with careless driving and possession of an open container.
