2021 Montgomery County Fair Open Class Bucket/Bottle Baby Show

The Montgomery County Agriculture Society will be hosting the open class bucket/bottle show this year at the Montgomery County Fair, but with a fun twist! Instead of only allowing calves, the show is adding baby goats and lambs. Calves must be born between March 1stand May 15thof the current year to be shown. Goats and lambs must be born after the 1stof January and before May 15thof the current year.

The open class bucket/bottle show is open to pre-4-H members 3 years of age through 3rd grade.  Youth must be 3 years of age by the day of the show to participate.  Each exhibitor is limited to one animal. 

The show will take place on Sunday, July 18th at 11:00 AM in the livestock pavilion on the Montgomery County Fairgrounds.

To participate in the show you must pick up a packet and sign up at the Montgomery County Extension and Outreach office at 400 Bridge Street, Suite 2, in Red Oak. The animals need to have the identification form filled out and at the Extension Office by June 1st at 4:30 PM.
