2 Red Oak women arrested on possession charges

According to deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office, Rebecca Lynn Ceranek and Vicki Jo Straight were arrested in the 500 block of East Coolbaugh Street in Red Oak Wednesday, Feb. 27.

Authorities charged Ceranek with two counts of possession of a controlled substance and one count of delivery of marijuana, Class D Felonies. Ceranek was additionally charged with unlawful possession of prescription medication, a serious misdemeanor. Straight was charged with one count of possession of a controlled substance.

Both ladies were taken to the Montgomery County Law Enforcement Center. Ceranek is being held on $5,000 bond, while Straight is being held on $1,000 bond.
